Cafe Kettern in Piesport

Very rude owner.

Not suitable for take-away cakes. Bought cakes and tarts at 3:45 pm. The saleswoman then annoyed me with the remark that she couldn't give me more because she wouldn't have any cake left for the café. The second star is solely for the good taste of the goods.

Staff very nice, coffee miserable and, last but not least, there was a corona surcharge on the bill

Fast service, good coffee, delicious cakes

Very nice recording. Came with an e-bike and luggage for 1 week, saw that the bikes could not hold on the slope, went out of business and offered a carport behind the cafe. On the terrace delicious cakes and coffee enjoyed with the best Corna protection measures

Unfriendly! Never again! We wanted to stop there yesterday with 3 adults and 3 children for coffee and cake. Of course, we all wore our mouth and nose covers and walked quickly and at a distance to other customers to a large free table at the back of the café. There were 9 chairs at the table and the table, like all other occupied tables in the room, was about 1.5 m away from the other tables and guests. Unfortunately, we hadn't seen the sign that asked to wait in front for a table to be assigned. We hadn't even all taken our seats when the waitress came and grumbled at us unfriendly that we had to wait and that it wasn't possible. I replied that the sign had unfortunately been overlooked and that the table was good (especially since there was no other table free at which 6 people could sit). Thereupon we got involved in an extremely rough discussion with the lady that there was no minimum distance of 1.5 m to the other customers and that we should go now. After all, she wants to stay healthy. So we were expelled from the house without cake and coffee and with 3 children we were thrown out into the downpour. There would have been enough space and if necessary you could have moved the 3 free chairs somehow to make more space. Conclusion: I've never experienced anything like this in my 40 years! According to the other reviews, the unfriendliness of the boss or waitress seems to have been a problem even before Corona.

Coffee (you can't really call it that) thin as Lake Constance. I find the corona surcharge of 1, - € for disinfecting the table insolent and then listed as various particles on the receipt. Never again!

A few meters outside the center, already the prices are cheaper. Excellent large salad plate, ice cream Mosel with many grapes and vanilla ice cream for 6 €. The warm food looks good and is much cheaper than 50m before. Outdoor view of half-timbered houses, nice wait staff

Here you can enjoy coffee and cake. The service was excellent and we were very satisfied. We bought here Vanillekipferl which are of very good quality. Here you can see the difference between industrial and craft goods. Thanks for the nice coffee afternoon.
